Created specifically to give girls and women's cricket its own identity, culture, and pathway, we bring players together from across the region to form one vibrant cricket community
Our Mission
Female cricket is growing faster than ever, but player numbers have historically been spread across individual clubs and age groups. As players progress, it becomes challenging for single clubs to field full teams leading to drop offs and fragmented player pathways.
Hibiscus Bays Cricket was formed to solve this challenge. Rather than running temporary "combined teams" where players feel caught between two clubs, Hibiscus Bays Cricket is a standalone entity with an inclusive environment, dedicated playing kit, and its own unique culture.
We are building a strong, sustainable home where girls can build lifelong friendships, grow their confidence, and enjoy playing cricket together from junior softballs all the way to senior women's grades.

A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
