Grade Information
Players are placed in grades based on their age as of 1 April each year
Girls Softball Programmes
Great for skill development, high participation, and fun- no protective gear required!
- Girls U11 & U13 Softball
- Fee: $100
- Schedule: Friday evening 5:30pm – 6:30pm
- Fun, fast-paced 8-a-side softball games focusing on core skills, confidence, and teamwork
- Inclusive environment where every girl gets equal opportunity to bat and bowl
- Clothing & Gear: Everyone gets a FREE girls smash T-shirt. All playing equipment is supplied, though players are welcome to bring their own if they have any.
Girls Hardball Competitions
Traditional cricket featuring full protective gear and standard cricket balls.
Clothing & Gear: Club playing kit. All hardball gear is supplied by the club, or players can bring their own.
- Girls Under 11, Under 13 & Under 15 Hardball
- Schedule: Saturday mornings – starting at 8:30am (finishing around 11:00am)
- T20 matches played at a variety of grounds around Auckland
- Progressive competitive pathway covering foundational hardball skills, tactical awareness, and specialized playing roles to prepare players for secondary school and representative cricket
- Clothing & Gear: Club playing kit. All hardball gear is supplied by the club, or players can bring their own.
Player Pathway
Our Girls’ Cricket Pathway provides a flexible, step-by-step route for players to grow at their own pace, from beginner to senior levels. Girls can start in either the Softball or Hardball stream at U11 and U13, with the option to transition from Softball into Hardball whenever they feel ready. From U13 Hardball, players progress through U15 and U17 as they refine their skills and game strategy, culminating in a smooth bridge directly into Senior Women’s cricket.
